About:
This is the home of Hwa Rang Do East Coast Headquarters. The academy is
headed by Grand Master Ki Nam Yum. Grand Master Yum came to the United States
in the mid-1980's after teaching Hwa Rang Do in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong,
Macau, and the Philippines. He established Hwa Rang Do East Coast, helping
other instructors open their own Hwa Rang Do academies around the region.
Each year HRD East Coast Headquarters hosts an open martial arts tournament
known as the Battle of the Orient, which benefits the Union Township Drug
and Alcohol Alliance. |
